To challenge myself I would usually attempt all of my fitness tests on 30 minutes of sleep with a blood alcohol level just below hospitalization.
I completed this testing for artillery with a torn meniscus not that hard
I did this test right after a 16 hour night shift so I didn’t sleep at all and I had the best time out of the 3 guys that were there at my test and my cardio sucks cuz all I do is lift weight so anyone can pass this
How much Break time do you get between each tests?
9 weeks is way too long for a basic training and if you will only work as an office staff
A joke of an assessment
this is just a basic exam to see if you can even do the other stuff lol
the first test is definitely the more time critical with a limit of 51 second. But for all of you stressing about it i timed the stripped shirt dude, if he had not face planted at the end, he would have passed the line at 50 second. The biggest mistake is to not raise your hands at every stop and to get down on the line. Anyway lets tanks both participant for giving us a taste of what to expected.

My road test is on the 4th of September 2024. Please pray for me, 🙌
universality of the Canadian forces creates a very minimal amount of physical fitness required in the forces ,but they had the mentality no matter what trade you had to consider that your an infantry man first and each trade requires physical fitness beyond there testing they don't tell you that like example being on a tank you have to have the upper body strength to handle the ammunition infantry men have to have the running endurance so you need to realise that just being at the bare minimum isn't enough
That first person was way behind😂..
Weak test which can be completely done walking. Platinum level is also impossible to achieve so they are not following through with the leadership mentality the CAF of displaying achievable goals. Previous testing was better.
that parallel park was so easy, no poles?? i'm jealous. nowadays you get a tiny space with 4 poles, no normal street parking.
Extremely helpful, I haven't done mine in 4 years due to covid (yes my base was shut down and no one was allowed) and chest surgery. The sprints freak me out!
Was reading the paper guessing what I have to do. You know the carrying the sand bag from point a to be then running? I thought you had to run the entire time so for the past few months of training I was running the entire time lol
Do you have a y advice on how to prepare for basic as well as this? I imagine that it only gets harder so i’d like to be able to be more prepared for it before i get to that point
Keep doing PT regularly. Focus on exercises that will aid in the FORCE test ie. interval training, dead lifts, squats and general upper body. BMQ is difficult for a whole host of reasons, but it's not meant to be impossible. The best advice I can give is put in the effort, be a team player and don't take anything personally.
Pathetic I smoke wee and have for 12 years and smokes cigarette for 9 I’m pretty sure this is a breeze!! If I was in high school this would be a joke!!!! They need more!!
Anyone please suggest me the best driving school in calgary?
Was so freaking afraid she will hit the man coming out from the store, she drove so fast when turning left/ right.. do not understand the traffic light why there were red yet she drove .
Remember, this is the bare minimum.
omg mine tomorrow
They’re freaking running like their life depends on it 😂
Gotta pass this or train for up to 90 days, then if you fail you can’t join, lol their life might not depend on it but their careers do
@@Biggus-dickus0 who cares, the army is a joke
Well, my fitness test is tomorrow so good luck for me i guess...
So I did today with extremely good times except the first thing (rushes) with 41 seconds (had to do it before u hit 50 seconds) yall it looks easy but it's actually fucking surprisingly tough I'm 5,10 170 pounds and yeah, just keep pushing even if it hurts
@benjamincholette9351 When you watch it on video or see it being demonstrated it looks deceptively easy. Obviously it's easier the better shape you're in, but that just means you can push harder. Good job in passing.
very confident driver

did you pass or fail?
Wasn’t it a weak point when you pass through the school bus and the kid was standing on the curb in your direction?
I just had to do this. Getting into infantry. You definitely need to have at least the average level of endurance and strength. Overall was a pain in the ass but very doable for anyone if they really push themselves.
Tomorrow road test pleas ePRAY.
Why is the kid in a sweater
Super helpful to watch this, also looks like a great cardio and strength workout.
what's the standard in 2023? I heard it's way lower standard. Is it true?
It's the exact same as this video
I saw him at hollywood so I didn't came to him
Doing my test in 2 days, well, I need to train, !
How did you do
Do reservists have to go through this training when they apply for Human Resources or Admin jobs?
Yes every reservist has to go through it it’s part of the application process
@@kylemoreno8683 Thanks 🙏🏻

Looks much better than us army basic grad, at least our graduates look like soldiers
2023 Update. Ok. So I did both this Force Test and the Combat Force Test and I have feedback to provide if you want. Even if it helps one person, my job is done. 1) Prep I don't care if you're a special forces tier 1 unit operator or a national athlete. This test/workout is literally designed to get you panting and sweating. It's not that the motions and exercises themselves are hard. It's that these excersies are back to back and UNDER TIME. Which increases the pressure. BUT RELAX, I got some tricks and tips for you. Listen in. Prepare before the test obviously, but I don't mean lift weights or workout heavy. This is an endurance test. So get your stamina up. Replicate these exercises and try and chop down the times. So that on the day of the test, it's not your first time doing it. Trust me. I've done that. It will kick your ass. Even if you're a damn PT stud. 2) Nutrition Don't be an idiot. Don't eat alot before the test. Some do and they end up yaking it all out. Drink water. BRING ELECTROLYTES Eat a Banana or two an hour or two before the test. Trust me. Many have cramps on this test and that is not fun. You don't wanna be that guy. I've been there, others have been there. And its just not a good time. Learn from our dumbass mistakes. 3) Timing Ok. So, if it's your first time, you can ask the moderator or instructor to give you a half count. Meaning, when the clock hits halfway for an exercise (this excludes the drag). Your instructor can shout that out and it gives you a good basis. This is important, it can help calm you or speed you up. You might get this request rejected. Ask another candidate to do it. It's not against the rules. 4) Sequence Ok, so if you get the opportunity, strategize your sequence of the 4 exercises. Meaning: Do the Shuttle Rushes first. Then the Sand Bag lifts Then the Drag And finally the Loaded Shuttles My guys found this to be the easiest sequence. You want your power at the start and then close off with the 5:20 min exercise at the end. 5) The Shuttle Rushes If you're someone who gets dizzy easily or has poor coordination on your feet. Don't do this one first. Fit it in the middle 2nd or 3rd There's alot of spinning and up and down and I've seen people land on their face. 6) Sand Bag lifts Dude. SLOW DOWN. Everyone rushes the heck out of these. Unless you're trying to hit a PR. Slow down. You have tons of time. 3:00 mins is alot of time. That's about 5 seconds each. We tested this by doing 5 seconds between each lift and still passed. Slow down. You still have other relays to complete. 7) Sandbag Drag Don't look back. The area is cordened off and clear. It's human nature to look back when walking backward. Avoid this. You're just twisting your body into a judo throw with the damn sandbag. Just pull... Consistent rate. 8) Loaded Shuttles This feels like forever. But once you actually get started it's easy. You can literally jog on this one and you'll still make time. But put out, this one is the only exercise that takes into account your waist ratio measurement (They do this at the start of the test) . There's a reason for that. Doing this one last is a bit of a suck. You're tired, going in circles. Never ending. But just start and before you know it, you're set. They will prompt you to sprint on each relay (unloaded). You can, but tbh it's not necessary. And that's it. The combat fitness test is harder. It involves you in all your battle rattle and a ruck. But you can build up to it. Just add one piece of equipment on at a time and do this force exercises regularly. 9) Recover and Personal After Action Report Take a picture of the damn paper once you've done the test. You DO NOT want to do this again due to lost paperwork. Ask me how I know. Record your timing in a journal. Heck, use it for personal workouts. Find the weakest number and attack it head on. Yeah you're good at shuttles big woop. Can you do 40-50 sandbag lifts now in the same 3 minutes? Exactly. And that's it. Hope this helps. Go Without Fear.
Thank you so much
@@anniehee4863 You're welcome- let me know how it goes once you've done it
Thank you so much for all the info. I'm doing my tests next week and while I'm not too stressed about the physical one, It's always a good thing to be prepared and have other people's tips & tricks beforehand. Again, thanks for taking the time to write all of this down.
Thank you so much for your comment! I thought the sandbag drag was better save for last but this order makes a lot of sense. My force test is in 2 weeks 🤞
How long after the aptitude test does this test fall ? I know the whole process I’ve heard is 3-6 months , I have my aptitude test in December of 2023. I’m just trying to get a good head in the game of what I’m walking into , I’ve done hard manual labour my whole life so of this literally falls into what I would do at work lol . So I’m hoping some of that helps on a way . But I’m curious on how long in between the aptitude to the physical, I know the medical is between those . I’m just trying to gather a time frame
I’m going for mine this Friday march 31st, 2023
Thank you for the video very helpful 😊
Way more complicated than a fitness test needs to be...probably dreamed up by some politican
Well done gentlemen and ladies , you are a true dedicated group who deserve our admiration. God Bless you all for your service. Thank You.
I have my road test tomorrow! Wish me luck, let’s all get through this together! 🚗❤️
dumb but genuine question; is there a time and place to change into athletic attire or are you expected to show up in it?
You can change coz they let use the bathroom or you can just come with your sporty clothes
Is there a point of doing these tests as fast as possible, or just beat them within the allotted time and you pass? For example, complete 30 sand bag carry within 3 mins. Do you get bonus points for completing it in 1:00 min vs 2:59 min?
sometimes certain posistin require you to beat the tasks in a certain amount of time
Im getting that today. So exited
